2017 CSO Product Status for Core Carriers Beginning January 1st, 2020 every company will be required to use a new mortality table to set reserve requirements for their products. Reserve requirements affect the rates at which companies can offer coverage. Product repricing is either going on or has been completed across the industry. Recently, statutory earnings have been impacted by several economic factors, including a prolonged low interest rate environment.
