TeleLife, EZ-App, PruXpress, AppAssist, TeleApp, and Life Quick Request are easy, fast ways to start the application process!
There is a new industry trend demonstrating an easier way to begin the application process and a faster way to get your paycheck! While TeleLife, PruXpress, AppAssist, TeleApp, and Life Quick Request are different, they are similar in the fact that they are shorter life insurance applications that are designed to keep the insurance agent away from piles of paperwork so that they can keep selling. Some of these processes are web-based, which do not require initial signatures of the proposed insured, while the others are an abbreviated application that can be faxed to the company directly.
TeleLife
Both Protective and West Coast Life utilize TeleLife. This is an abbreviated application that you fill out with the client. Once you fill out the necessary pages and fax them to the company, the process usually begins in less than twenty four hours! The company will do an extended telephone interview with the client and get the medical and financial history. Upon completion of the interview, the company will send an application packet directly to the client for all of the necessary signatures. They will also schedule the paramedical examinations and labs. The examiner will then pick up the application and send it to the company with the lab results. In addition, the company is responsible for ordering all of the Attending Physician Statements, if necessary. With the addition of voice signature, this process is now even more streamlined.
Protective and West Coast Life also have web-based versions of this process called "TeleLife Web Entry." The process remains the same with the exception that the initial information is not collected on paper; it is entered into their website and with no required signatures of the proposed insured. The company can also collect the initial premium via credit card or bank draft.
***Please note that it is mandatory with Protective that all term cases under 1 million in face amount must be submitted using the TeleLife application process.

PruXpress
Prudential utilizes the PruXpress Application. It is similar to the other programs with the interview and shorter application, although no application packet will be sent to the client. The agent also must indicate on the application that they would prefer Prudential to order the paramedical exam. Unlike the other abbreviated applications, this must get submitted to AMG to be processed. It cannot be sent in directly to Prudential.
***PruXpress form is mandatory for face amounts on all products below $250,000.

AppAssist
Banner Life calls their program, AppAssist. They boast that AppAssist is "designed to make it easy for you to facilitate the sale of high-quality, low-cost term insurance." The defining feature of this program is that Banner allows the proposed insured to give a voice signature during the interview to allow underwriting to immediately commence. They do not have to wait for the application packet to be returned to the company.

The company will also order medical records, if necessary. Upon approval, the completed application and the policy is sent to the agent for the necessary client signatures.
***The TeleApp Application is required for all Aviva Term product sales, but can also be used for permanent products as well.

Genworth is offering the Life Quick Request (Express App) for their Colony Term UL & Colonysm Term UL NY products. Agents complete the short form online and then submit it to Genworth’s fulfillment service center (a two page fax ticket can also be printed and sent in to AMG for us to process and keep track of the application if needed).
